Scaling up nature-based solutions funding for crop diversity

Safeguarding crop diversity (both in gene banks and in the field) is one of the most important prerequisites for securing a biodiverse, healthy global food supply that is resilient to the impacts of climate change.

In this effort, Natural Strategies:

• Hosts workshops on natural capital & bankable nature-based solutions to develop a common understanding amongst stakeholders

• Identifies NbS and supporting case studies that demonstrate potential in the context of crop diversity

• Designs concrete pilot programs to test the viability of the NbS instruments to scale up finance for crop diversity
