Guiding accreditation with the Green Climate Fund

Natural Strategies guides the International Trade Centre's due diligence process to access climate funding for SMEs around the world.

The International Trade Centre (ITC) seeks to help SMEs access tools and knowledge to comply with sustainability standards and implement environmentally friendly business practices throughout their value chains. To scale up this work, Natural Strategies prepares ITC for the Green Climate Fund’s due diligence process for accreditation. This includes areas such as identifying, categorizing and managing potential environmental and social risks and impacts around biodiversity, climate and social aspects; related monitoring systems; and corresponding institutional climate strategies and trainings.

The objective is to help small and medium-sized companies around the world advance towards climate – and nature-friendly business practices.
