Fundación Mona rescues abused primates, raises awareness about wildlife trafficking, habitat destruction and other threats to primates through workshops and exhibitions; and contributes to university research on primatology in collaboration with a University Master Programme. The Foundation also participates in projects in the field of ethology to evaluate and improve the conditions and welfare of chimpanzees.

Natural Strategies supports Fundación Mona in identifying and mobilizing funding for a new sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees in Spain. This includes helping to prepare a fundraising strategy, identifying potential sources of financial support and leading related donor correspondence.
