Based in Cambodia, Jess co-develops Natural Strategies’ work on financing Nature-based Solutions in Cambodia and the region. She is a tropical marine biologist with experience in the Maldives, Seychelles, and Cambodia.
Over time, Jesshas also transitioned into the broader spectrum of sustainable development, holding key roles in ecotourism and plastic management initiatives in the Mekong region. In addition, she continues to provide technical expertise to international conservation organizations, revising national monitoring methodologies of coastal ecosystems, and designing and conducting practical workshops to train stakeholders. Jess has published peer-reviewed literature, maximizing accessibility to policymakers, stakeholders and donors alike.
Jess holds an MSc in Tropical Marine Biology from the University of Essex, and a BSc in Geography from the University of Birmingham.
